چکیده

Abstract The effect of 3D printed modified Chitosan membranes on bacterial strains by water filtration system was explored in this study. Specifically, it focused the characterisation Chitosan–graphene oxide–silver nanoparticles (CS–GO–AgNP) composite and effects Dimethylacetamide (DMAc) used as co-solvent performance CS–GO–AgNP nanocomposites. It also examined impact GO–AgNP CS matrix for inhibition Fecal Coliforms, Total Coliforms Escherichia coli ( E. ) contaminated surface water. increase DMAc concentration subsequent reduction mole fraction within ink formulation resulted to wider distribution AgNP across membrane surface, improvement mechanical strength hydrophilicity membranes. Similarly, effectively reduced spread identified microorganisms. Sample B-12 with 79% CS, 21% 1.2 ml exhibited highest strains, more than 95% suppressed or inactivated, while 99.9% cells were completely prevented, indicating that our can be treatment.

A new membrane filtration medium for simultaneous detection and enumeration of Escherichia coli and total coliforms.

Recovery of total coliforms and Escherichia coli on a new membrane filtration (MF) medium was evaluated with 25 water samples from seven states. Testing of the new medium, m-ColiBlue24 broth, was conducted according to a U.S. Environmental Protection Agency protocol. For comparison, this same protocol was used to measure recovery of total coliforms and E. coli with two standard MF media, m-Endo...

Evaluation of Extended Spectrum Betalactamase(ESBL) Positive Strains of Klebsiella pneumoniae And Escherichia coli in Bacterial Cultures

Background and Objective: To evaluate extended spectrum betalactamase (ESBL) positive strains of Klebsiella pneumonia and Escherichia coli in positive bacterial cultures. Materials and Methods: In this analytical cross-sectional study, between March 2006 and March 2007, 170 bacterial isolates including 133 cases of E. coli and 37cases of K. pneumonia were...

Enumeration of total coliforms and Escherichia coli from source water by the defined substrate technology.

Many water utilities are required to monitor source water for the presence of total coliforms, fecal coliforms, or both. The Colilert system, an application of the defined substrate technology, simultaneously detects the presence of both total coliforms and Escherichia coli directly from a water sample. After incubation, the formula becomes yellow if total coliforms are present and fluorescent ...

Inactivation efficiency of total coliforms and Escherichia coli in doped natural water by heterogeneous Fenton: Effect of process factors

The microbiological contamination of water is responsible for millions of deaths in the world annually, until now the disinfection of water has been based on the chlorination; however there is a growing concern for the formation of trihalomethanes, for this reason it was evaluated the inactivation of total coliforms and Escherichia coli (E. coli) by using the advanced oxidation process known as...

Antibiotic Resistance Patterns in Enteric and Uropathogenic Strains of Escherichia Coli in Children

Abstract Background and Objective: Escherichia coli is the most common cause of urinary tract infections in children and the leading cause of intra-abdominal infections (peritonitis and abscess) followed intestinal injuries. Urinary tract infection, including cystitis and pyelonephritis, is a common childhood infection. E. coli causes more than 90 percent of the community acquired and 50% of ho...
